As the poker world waits with growing excitement for the first ever Triton ONE tournament series to get started, QQPK and Triton Poker have announced news of an incredible leaderboard promotion to reward Triton ONE's most committed players.
It's called "QQPK Player One" and it invites poker players to earn points based on their performances at the Triton ONE series in Jeju, South Korea, which plays out next month. The top 5 players in the Player One leaderboard earn a share of $50,000 worth of prizes.
It promises an especially hard-fought battle across the 12-tournament Triton ONE festival, with brilliant rewards at the end of it.
The most consistent player in the QQPK Player One contest, who earns the most leaderboard points, will win a $15,000 Triton Poker Series voucher to be redeemed at any Triton Poker Series event, as well as the first pick from five mystery prize envelopes.
These envelopes contain:
- 2 x $8,000 Triton ONE Main Event tickets (for future stops)
- 1 x $10,000 cash prize
- 1 x $5,000 cash prize
- 1 x $4,000 cash prize
After the leaderboard winner has made their envelope selection, the remaining four picks go to the players ranked second through fifth in the leaderboard standings.
It means five players will earn a significant boost to their bankrolls and encourage them to continue their poker journeys at the Triton tables.
HOW TO EARN POINTS
QQPK Player One is similar in many ways to the Ivan Leow Player of the Year award on the Triton Super High Roller Series, which rewards the most consistent player through 12 months on the prestigious high stakes tour.
Triton ONE players will earn QQPK Player One points in every tournament they play during the festival in Jeju, with the exception of qualifier (satellite) tournaments. Points increase based on finishing place, the tournament buy-in amount, and the number of entries.
Bonus points are available for players who register on time and sit down to play in the first level, finish in the money (ITM), or who go on a notable cashing or winning streak. The players who accumulate the most points stand to win the top prizes. Full details and mechanics will be updated onto the Triton Poker Series website prior to the start of Triton ONE.
The QQPK Player One leaderboard aims to encourage loyalty among Triton ONE players, while offering spectacular prizes to mid-stakes players enabling further participation across all of Triton's exceptional live events.
There’s even a built-in incentive for established players on the Triton Super High Roller Series. Triton ONE tournaments with a buy-in of $10,000 or more also offer points for the Ivan Leow Player of the Year Award. It essentially adds four more tournaments for players to seek points in that leaderboard: the $10,000 Triton ONE Mystery Bounty, the $15,000 Triton ONE High Roller and two $20,000 Triton ONE Single Day events.
