Founded in 2015 by Paul Phua and Richard Yong, Triton Poker Series was built to redefine high-stakes poker. More than just a tournament series, it became a battleground for the world’s top players and elite recreational competitors.
The vision became reality in 2016, when the first Triton Poker Super High Roller Series took place in Manila, Philippines. The event set a new standard for high-stakes competition, drawing the best in the game. With the very first champion of the Triton Poker Series taking home $2.1 million, this marked the start of an enduring legacy.

The Triton Million for Charity in 2019 shattered records with its £1 million buy-in, the largest in poker history. Featuring a field of poker’s greatest professionals and elite businessmen, this event redefined the high-stakes scene. Aaron Zang emerged victorious in a legendary showdown against Bryn Kenney, cementing the Triton Million as a landmark moment in the sport.
The Coin Rivet Invitational was a breakthrough for diversity in high-stakes poker. Ebony Kenney made history as the first woman to compete at this level, inspiring more female players to enter the Triton arena. Since then, players like Sosia Jiang, Kristen Foxen, Saya Ono, Janissa Kan, and Monika Zukowicz have made their mark, proving that high-stakes poker is evolving.
Jeju 2025 set a new tour record with 379 entries in Event 1 ($15,000 NLH). It was the first time a Triton tournament featured more than 200 unique players, with 266 unique players and 113 re-entries. The attendance record didn’t last long. Event 3 ($25K 8-Handed) in Jeju saw 391 total entries, making it the largest field in Triton's history.
The $100K NLH Triton Poker Series Main Event set a new record as the largest six-figure buy-in event ever, with 285 entries, surpassing the previous record of 216 entries from the same tournament in Jeju the previous year.
Sergio Martinez won the largest $100K PLO event in Triton Poker Series history, featuring 91 entries and a record-breaking $9.1 million prize pool.
